Knet an Official Sponsor of Cards & Payments Middle East Exhibition

Knet participated as a major sponsor of Cards and Payments Middle East Fair held at Abu Dhabi on 15 – 16 May 2012. At its stand, Knet displayed many presentations and publications documenting the Company’s history and services as being the online payment network in the State of Kuwait and highlighting its role in the Unified GCC-Net in addition to the presentation of its successful experience related to government e-pay program “Tasdeed”. The Automated Shared Banking Services Company has continued to declare its efficient sponsorship, participation, and presence at the largest annual forum of cards and payments in the region which had witnessed intensive attendance at Knet stand throughout the fair days. Many visitors enquired about the possible application of the outstanding Knet experience in their countries as a national network for the financial and banking sector services.

Furthermore, organizers of the fair paid special attention to the presence of Knet as the major sponsor, being the only network present this year. The networking role was evident in the services rendered to the member banks as well as non-member foreign banks and its role in service of Gulf banks of GCC Net. The light was also shed on the partners including different companies on different levels of services and their role in the established footprint of the network. It is worth mentioning that the government e-pay program (Tasdeed) was included in the final list of the smart cards of Middle East region as a separate party held on 15th May 2012 at Emirates Palace in the presence of several figures, companies, and banks in the region. Knet Company has continued to post outstanding performance and efficient presence in Kuwait and Gulf markets through its commitment to work in accordance with specific future strategy and focus on the main activities and opening of new horizons for electronic services to upgrade the services rendered to the banking sector in the State of Kuwait as well as different banks operating in the region as well as the government sector through Tasdeed program
